Senior Division Football league was organized by Delhi Soccer association under the supervision of All India Football Federation. League kickstarted from 18 March 2023 and went on till 31 May 2024.This league is one of the most important leagues in Delhi soccer circle one of finest teams in Delhi qualify for this league and compete for further qualifications into state premier league.
Hindustan FC is one of the most established and renowned clubs in Delhi which has qualified for DSA senior division league. Neuroaid & Research foundation has partnered with HFC and taken the charge to provide on field physiotherapy and injury management services. Nature of this league was highly professional and physically challenging the level of football demonstrated by players was not less than any national level competition. Injuries like ankle sprains, pulled hamstrings, contusions were very common. On field injury management and medical care delivered by NRF sports physios was on point Complex injuries like concussion and Adductor strains was managed well by the Sports PT.
Hindustan FC delivered an exceptional performance and managed to secure a place into finals. Finals took place in east Delhi H.F.C played against Shastri FC and secured win final was very intense our mid fielders got injured with ankle sprain and pulled hamstring they were substituted. Team got a penalty and our left winger missed no chance and converted it into a goal. Team put up a show and we won the finals.
Later HFC lifted the cup by topping the points. It was a mutual team effort and credit goes to all the team players, coaches, managers and Physios for putting up such remarkable performance at a show. These types of tournaments are very important to uplift the emerging sports talent.
